How much does it cost to attend the show?

Adult Tickets $20 Kids 14 and Under Go FREE! Kids 14 and under still require a ticket which can be purchased for free online or proof of age can be presented at the front gate. Concession $15 Concession Options Centrelink Seniors Health Card green, Centrelink Seniors Health care card orange and Centrelink Pension Blue card are accepted, companion cards. A valid student ID card for secondary students.

Can I get a refund on my ticket?

All ticket purchases are final and non-refundable, except as required by Australian consumer law.

Can you scan my ticket off my phone?

Yes, you can present your ticket on your smartphone for scanning at the gate. Please ensure the brightness of your screen is adjusted for easy & efficient scanning.

Where do we enter the showgrounds?

Entry Points Public Entry Gates in use for 2023 will be: Main Entrance Corner of Creswick Road & Howitt St & then Howitt St (if you are trying to avoid the rides this is a great entrance to use).

Is there a lost and found area at the show?

Yes all found property will be kept in the main show office. You can find the Main Office near the McDonalds main stage. If you have left the grounds you can make contact by calling 5338 1877 or email admin@ballaratshow.org.au

What day and time are the fireworks?

The Power FM Fireworks are Friday night at 9pm on the McDonald’s Broadhead Arena (Please remember fireworks are ALWAYS subject to weather conditions)

Are there free rides?

There are no free rides - there are tonnes of free activities in the Creswick Bendigo Bank family pavilion.

Is there a horse competition this year?

It's been postponed to March 2024. Keep up to date by checking our website! Show date to be announced mid October 2023.

There is parking along Creswick Road and Howitt Street.

Is there accessible car parking available?

Accessible car parking parking bays are limited and not subject to pre-booking. Allocation of these bays will be on a ‘first come/first serve’ basis. Please Note: Accessible car parking is for holders of a Accessible Parking Permit only.

Can you smoke / vape at the show?

The Ballarat Show is a smoke-free event, smoking and vaping is not permitted onsite at the showgrounds.

Can you pack our own food to bring along?

Certainly! You are welcome to bring your own food and non-alcoholic drinks to the Ballarat Show.

You can pay at the gate with cash or eftpos. Most stalls, rides and vendors take eftpos. There is also an ATM on site.

Do the rides run during heavy rain?

No but all pavilions remain open.

Yes just ask for pass out stamps at the front gate. Passouts are only valid for the same day.

Absolutely – all volunteers need to register their interest in helping by Wednesday 1st November 2023 by sending your name & area you are willing to help in & days available through to admin@ballaratshow.org.au
