2026 Poultry Competition

The Ballarat Poultry Society regrets to advise exhibitors, supporters and the wider community that there will be no Poultry Show held at this year's Ballarat Show due to the ongoing restrictions and challenges associated with avian influenza (bird flu).

While this decision has not been made lightly, the health and welfare of poultry, along with the protection of the industry and our exhibitors, remains our highest priority.

We understand this news will be disappointing for our dedicated exhibitors and poultry enthusiasts, and we sincerely thank everyone for their understanding, patience and continued support during this time.

The Ballarat Poultry Society remains committed to promoting and showcasing quality poultry and looks forward to welcoming exhibitors back when conditions allow. We encourage everyone to watch this space for 2027, as we look forward to the return of the Poultry Show next year.

Thank you for your ongoing support of the Ballarat Poultry Society and the Ballarat Show.
